I'm sorry, what just happened?

I'm not even sure I have coherent thoughts about this book, but not in the bad way. It was an incredibly overwhelming and lengthy read with action, action, and more action. Pardon if my lists don't seem terribly organized.

I finally broke down and picked up a copy of A Song of Ice and Fire: Game of Thrones. I read it in just over a week, which pretty much sums up my reaction to the first book in the series.
